Terms of Service
Welcome to Fastlane. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Fastlane website, waitlist, beta product, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Fastlane (“Fastlane,” “we,” “us”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
Fastlane is an AI-powered shopping agent designed to help individuals research, source, and negotiate vehicle purchases. Today, parts of the Service are available only as a public beta and as a waitlist for forthcoming features. We may add, change, or remove features at any time without notice.
2. Beta and Pre-Release Features
Any portion of the Service designated as “beta,” “preview,” “experimental,” or similar is provided to you on an as-is basis for evaluation purposes. Beta features may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or removed without notice and should not be relied upon for purchase decisions without independent verification.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide to us is accurate.
4. Your Account & Waitlist
To join the waitlist you provide us with an email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of any credentials we may issue you in the future and for all activity that occurs under your account. We may close, suspend, or limit access to accounts at our discretion.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any law;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, including submitting waitlist entries on behalf of others without permission;
- Interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems;
- Use any automated means to access the Service in a manner that sends more requests than a person could reasonably produce; or
- Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm any third party, including dealers and other counterparties.
6. AI-Generated Content & Third-Party Listings
The Service uses large language models and external data sources to surface vehicle listings, pricing information, and negotiation guidance. AI output and third-party listing data can be wrong, out-of-date, or incomplete. You are solely responsible for independently verifying any information before entering into any purchase, contract, or other obligation. Fastlane does not guarantee the accuracy of AI output or listing data.
7. No Brokerage or Financial Advice
Fastlane is not a licensed motor vehicle dealer, broker, lender, insurance agent, financial advisor, or attorney. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, legal, or tax advice. Any negotiation assistance is a software tool you operate; you are the principal in any transaction.
8. Fees
The waitlist and the beta are currently free. Paid plans (for example, per-vehicle negotiation fees) may be introduced. Any fees will be disclosed before you are charged and will be governed by the billing terms in effect at the time you opt in.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, designs, content, and trademarks, is owned by Fastlane or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FASTLANE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) FEES YOU PAID TO FASTLANE IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) US$100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Fastlane and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) will survive.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute will be the state and federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice (for example, by email to your waitlist address). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
